LA Metro's Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) was officially adopted in phases, with the board approving motions to form an advisory committee in June 2020 and the first cohort being established as a pilot on April 7, 2021. The second cohort was established on February 25, 2023. The third cohort started February 2025 and will end in December with the 4th to start in 2026.
The group is a group of 18 people who have been nominated through an application process, three staff, 3 alternate members and 15 voting members. Here is a link to the full Public safety advisory committee web site which will explain what its all about.
The group meets once a month at Metro Headquarters in the Metro board Room. The meeting is at 6 PM on the first Thursday of each month. Meetings are subject to change. The agenda has info on when the next scheduled meeting will be, so please look at it or see the PSAC website for details.
If you are comfortable with Dropbox, They do have a dropbox folder which includes their agendas, minutes and a video of the meetings.
If you aren't wanting to go through that trouble, this page will host the files you'll need. If we do braille, there will be no foreign language parts due to me not being able to verify if the foreign language is correctly brailled.
